How do I build effective PI Vision displays?

PI Vision displays let you create real-time dashboards directly in the browser. Here's how to build effective ones.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to your PI Vision URL (e.g., https://pivision.yourcompany.com/PIVision)
  2. Click New Display to create a blank canvas
  3. Use the Asset Browser on the left to navigate your AF hierarchy

Adding Elements

Drag and drop attributes from the AF tree onto the display:

  • Single value — shows current reading with timestamp
  • Trend — time-series chart (drag multiple attributes for overlay)
